cytotam 20 mg tablet is a nonsteroidal agent which is used in both men and women to treat breast cancer. It is also used in women to prevent breast cancer. This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women. It is advised that you discuss all the risks and benefits with your doctor before taking this medicine.

Cytotam 20mg Tablet is not to be taken if you’re pregnant as it could potentially harm the baby. If you have a history of liver disease, cataract, stroke, or high triglycerides, tell your doctor. Cytotam 20 mg Tablet is used to treat Ductal Carcinoma in Situ, a type of breast cancer. It is usually given in women who have had breast surgery and radiation to prevent the spread of cancer.

Cytotam 20 mg Tablet is used to reduce the chances of breast cancer in women who are at a high risk of developing breast cancer.

McCune-Albright Syndrome

Cytotam 20 mg Tablet is used to treat McCune-Albright Syndrome which is a genetic disease that affects the bones, the color of the skin, and results in early puberty.

How to use Cytotam Tablet

Take cytotam 20 mg price in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cytotam 20 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Cytotam Tablet works

Cytotam 20 mg Tablet is an a hormone-based medication. It works by binding to oestrogen receptors and blocks the effects of oestrogen (a natural female hormone) in the breast tissue. This slows down the growth and multiplication of breast cancer cells. In addition, it also treats female infertility due to a failure to produce and release eggs (ovulate) properly.

Dosage

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost the time for your next scheduled dose. Do not double the medicine to make up for the missed dose.

Overdose

Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.

Side effects
