Description
januvia 25mg Tablet is an antidiabetic medicine used alone or in combination with other medicines to treat type 2 diabetes in adult patients. Patients are advised to follow a strict diet and exercise regimen along with this medicine for the best possible effect. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with type 1 diabetes and diabetic ketoacidosis.
Januvia 25Mg Tablet is a drug prescribed to patients with type 2 diabetes. It helps in reducing the blood sugar level in the body. It is classified under DDP-4 inhibitor class of medications. It is taken with diet and regular exercise and is sometimes prescribed along with other medications. It comes as a tablet and is consumed orally. However, note that it is used to lower blood sugar levels only and not to cure diabetes in itself.
Dosage
Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. If januvia 25mg tab is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.
Overdose
Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.

General Instructions
Take januvia 25 mg Tablet with or without food. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Do not take in larger or smaller amounts than advised/prescribed. Consult the doctor if you experience any undesirable side effects. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor.
warnings
Use in children – This medicine is not recommended for use in children and adolescents.
Bullous pemphigoid – This medicine should be used with caution due to the increased risk of bullous pemphigoid, a hypersensitivity reaction of the skin. Any unusual symptoms such as skin blisters or skin rashes should be reported to the doctor on priority. Therapy with the medicine may be discontinued based on the clinical condition of the patient.
Diabetic ketoacidosis – januvia 25 mg tab is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of diabetic ketoacidosis due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition.
Type 1 diabetes mellitus – This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus.
