In cancer therapy, this medicine can be used to prevent or treat bone damage caused by cancer cells.

Zoldria 4mg Injection is available as an injection, meant to be administered intravenously. It is supplied only if it is prescribed by a registered doctor. It comes in two strengths. It is used to treat patients suffering from osteoporosis (both males and post-menopausal women), multiple myeloma, patients with high levels of calcium in their blood, and patients suffering from Paget disease. The main function of this medication is to increase the bone density in your bones.


Osteolytic bone lesions of multiple myeloma

zoldria 4mg injection is used to prevent bone fractures and to treat bone pain caused by osteolytic bone lesions in multiple myeloma patients.

Osteolytic bone metastases of solid tumours

This medicine is used in the treatment of severe pain, bone fractures, spinal cord compression, or hypercalcemia caused by bone metastases of solid tumors.

Hypercalcemia of malignancy

Zoldria 4 mg Injection is used in the treatment of elevated levels of calcium in the blood caused by certain type of cancers.

How Zoldria Injection works

zoldria 4mg price is a bisphosphonate. It works by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts, cells that cause destruction of bone. This strengthens the bones and minimizes the risk of fractures.


Missed Dose

If you miss an appointment for a dose of Zoldria 4 mg Injection, contact your doctor immediately and schedule the dose as soon as possible.


Since zoldria 4mg inj is administered in the clinical setting by a qualified healthcare professional, the likelihood of an overdose is very less. However, emergency medical treatment will be initiated by the doctor if an overdose is suspected.

Side effects

  • Hypersensitivity
  • Redness or swelling of eyes
  • Abdominal and stomach pain
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Heartburn
  • Difficulty with swallowing

  • Loss of appetite

It may also be used to treat high blood calcium levels (hypercalcemia) or bone damage and pain that may occur with cancer. It is given by injection into a vein, usually over at least 15 minutes or as directed by your doctor. Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration and kidney damage. It can lower the level of calcium in the blood. Take calcium and vitamin D supplements as suggested by your doctor. You may develop fever or flu like symptoms, such as chills, tiredness and weakness. These are usually temporary and should go away after a few days. You may take a pain reliever/fever reducer to prevent or treat these symptoms. Zoldria 4 mg Injection may cause a rare condition called osteonecrosis of the jaw. Have regular dental check-ups and inform your doctor if you develop sudden pain in your jaw.


Use in pediatrics – zoldria 4mg prix is not recommended for use in children or adolescents.

Severe bone, joint and/or muscle pain – This medicine may cause severe bone, joint, and/or muscle pain. Report any such symptoms to the doctor on priority. Your doctor may advise you to discontinue therapy based on your clinical condition.

Flu-like symptoms – This medicine may cause flu-like symptoms after the dose administration. Consult the doctor if the symptoms do not resolve within 14 days.

Thigh bone fracture – Treatment with Zoldria 4 mg Injection may increase the risk of thigh bone fracture. Care should be taken to avoid any falls or other trauma to reduce this risk.
